PITTSBURGH -- A driver who led police on a chase through several neighborhoods was able to escape early Tuesday morning. Investigators said police pursued the sport utility vehicle in Carnegie because the driver is wanted by the Allegheny County Sheriff's Department. Police said the chase went from the Parkway West, onto Route 51 the onto Crane Avenue in Beechview. Officers said they found the vehicle on a dead-end street, but the driver was able to get away before police could make an arrest.
